• Pastor Gong, chairman of “Chinese Coordination Centre of World Evangelism-Canada” wrongfully destroyed a family, covered up the truth, and distorted the facts.
• The husband sought a solution and fought for many years, but was met with a concerted effort from some pastors, related churches, and organizations to cover up, suppress, and intimidate him.
• The victimized family is oppressed in helplessness, injustice, and destruction, while the truth is collectively concealed.

The destructive practices of the pastor Gong

• During a counseling session in 2017, Pastor Gong, fully aware that he had distorted the truth and misled, rationalized my wife’s extreme and erroneous actions, and shifted the blame onto me. Instead of admitting his mistake and correcting it, he pushed a problem that was easily solvable into a completely unsolvable direction. If he had admitted his mistake and corrected it then, the subsequent disaster in my family would never have occurred.
• From 2018 to 2019, Pastor Gong refused to admit his mistakes or correct them, allowing his distortion of facts, misleading and damaging behavior to continue. He also continued to mislead my wife, leading her to fabricate false facts based on Pastor Gong’s distorted principle in order to justify herself. This led her to seriously violate her moral conscience and destroy her family, yet she believed that she was on the right spiritual path with him.
• As Pastor Gong refused to admit his mistakes and correct them for an extended period, the misleading influence on my wife and the damage to our family grew, let him and my wife were wrong together. They then cover up the truth together, distort the facts, and rationalize their respective actions.
• From 2020 to 2024, Pastor Gong caused the most damage to my family: he covered up the truth with my wife together, preventing our family from improving and instead pushing us in the opposite direction. He misled and manipulated my wife, causing the disaster to occur “automatically” in our family. created an external environment that made my family’s problems unsolvable, trapping my family in a cycle of infighting and conflict, ultimately destroying our entire family.
• My wife was causing destruction in front, while he used his close personal relationship with her, through weekly Bible readings and prayers with her and others, and church service together, to affirm her spiritual progress. As a result, our family was destroyed time and time again, and my wife still felt that she was on the “right” path. He also used his “two-faced” approach to cover up the truth, attributing the destruction of our family to our own problems.
• There has always been a path to resolving this issue in my family: the pastor Gong must first admit his mistake of distorting the truth and continuously misleading and manipulating my wife; only then could my wife admit her mistakes and correct, and only then could my family move towards resolving the issue. However, because this would expose his serious problems, he took advantage of my wife’s unwillingness to admit her mistakes, he and my wife refused to admit their mistakes and distort the truth together, thus blocking this path to resolving the issue.

Report, protests, and the current situation

• Since 2022, I have repeatedly asked Pastor Gong to confront the truth, admit his mistakes, and eliminate the damaging impact he has caused. On the one hand, Pastor Gong refuses to confront the truth; on the other hand, he makes false statements within the church and organization where he works, concealing key facts and distorting the truth.
• In 2023, I reported Pastor Gong to his church, the “West Toronto Chinese Bible Church.” However, they used “procedural unfairness” , not investigate or verify the serious issues I alleged, and directly concluded that Pastor Gong had not violated biblical principles. Afterwards, they used the threat of “calling the police” to prevent me from submitting further materials to reveal the truth.
• In 2024, I reported Pastor Gong to “Chinese Coordination Centre of World Evangelism-Canada” , the largest Christian organization in Canada， where he served as chairman of the board, and to the “Toronto Chinese Evangelical Ministerial Fellowship (TCEMF) ,” where he was a key member. Both organizations used “procedural unfairness”—not contacting me, not investigating or verifying the serious issues I alleged—before directly concluding that Pastor Gong had nothing to be blamed and even using legal language to intimidate me.
• In 2025, I reported Pastor Gong to “Chinese Christian Life Fellowship Inc”, the most influential media among Chinese christian，where he served as a director and regular speaker；Report him to the “Toronto Chinese Bible Church” pastoral team, and other organizations where he held important positions, and repeatedly urged them to respond, but they have not responded to this day.
• Since 2025, we have been holding up signs in peaceful protest against the cover-up, suppression and procedural injustice by these church leaders and organizations. We have also written to more than 300 Chinese churches and organizations in Toronto, visited some churches and pastors, and called for verification of the facts.
• However, due to the powerful influence and fear created by the other party’s network of connections, as well as the influence of erroneous beliefs, and the distorted statements made by those in power, even ordinary people dare to say things like “investigate and verify the truth,” but no pastor or church dares to say it publicly.

Our hope and appeal

• The purpose is not to create division, but to call for honesty, justice, and accountability, and to remove falsehood and sin from the church.
• Hope that all those who care about the truth and love the church will work together to restore the church’s integrity, honesty, and conscience.
• Be honest with conversations, admit mistakes and correct them, get back on the right path, and work together for the better, so that our families and churches may be healed and restored.
• The door to repentance and reconciliation remains open to these church leaders and organizations that have erred; Hoped they will turn back.
• These church leaders and organizations are “Doing evil in the sight of God”: distorting the cases of the poor, robbing the afflicted of their rights, and oppressing the weak (Isaiah 10:2).

The Test of Faith and Conscience

• How can we uphold truth, honesty, and conscience when serious problems with church leaders are not investigated, but instead the truth is covered up and victims are suppressed?
• If the practices within the church are more false and dark than those of ordinary people, how can they be salt and light in the world?
• People (including the church) need to be united and love one another, but not under the premise of destroying families, covering up the truth, and distorting the truth through injustice and unfairness.
• Christians and the church must have the integrity to speak honestly, truthfully, and with conscience.

What you can do

• Let more people know the truth, to call for a confrontation to uncover the facts, and to demand a fair and transparent investigation and verification.
• Urge the relevant pastors, churches, and organizations to admit their mistakes and apologize for the “procedural injustice” and the cover-up and suppression, and to repair the damage caused.
• Hold accountable those church leaders who hide behind churches and institutions, control the cover-up of the truth and the distortion of facts.
• Engage in rational dialogue, speak out against injustice and unfairness, break down lies and oppression, prevent others from being harmed, and restore a healthy environment for faith.

The door to honest dialogue, admitting mistakes and repenting, eliminating damage, and moving towards a better future has always been open to “these church leaders.” May they turn back soon.
