1. 2017: Marriage Counseling Was the Starting Point for My Family’s Wronged and Destroyed<\/strong> In 2017, my wife and I attended marriage counseling with Pastor Gong Mingpeng. He clearly understood that his teachings were distorting right and wrong, leading to misleading views.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n However, he refused to admit his mistakes or correct his mistakes, and continued to mislead us. He turned a problem that was once easily resolvable into an unsolvable one, directly leading to disaster and pushing my family into a catastrophic situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2. 2018-2020: Pastor Gong Mingpeng refused to admit his mistakes or correct his mistakes, continuing to mislead my wife and pushing our family into even greater disaster.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n From 2018 to 2020, my wife joined Pastor Gong Mingpeng’s church. He clearly saw that the distortions and misleading views he had created in his counseling had severely damaged our family, yet he refused to admit his mistakes or correct his mistakes, and continued to mislead my wife. <\/p>\n\n\n\n This further reinforced the misleading and distorted teachings he initiated. Coupled with my wife’s own issues, she was misled to the point of seriously violating her moral conscience and destroying our family. However, she mistakenly believed she was on a “spiritual” path with him, ultimately unjustly destroying our family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 3. 2020-2024: Pastor Gong Mingpeng’s actions were “extremely egregious,” trapping my family in a dead end of “choosing between two dead options,” forcing me to choose divorce.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Pastor Gong Mingpeng deliberately avoided the correct path to resolving our problems and deliberately avoided promoting positive outcomes for my family. Knowing my wife’s extremely wrong and destructive behavior, he used both intentional and unintentional means to further mislead and manipulate us. He artificially created obstacles to resolving the issues, exerting pressure in the opposite direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He deliberately left my wife’s destructive behavior in my family, allowing the disaster to “happen automatically.” While my wife was destroying herself in the front lines, Pastor Gong Mingpeng offered her affirmation of her “spiritual growth” behind the scenes, leading my wife to mistakenly believe she was on the “right” path. This further entangled our husband and wife, leading to conflict and making our family’s problems impossible to resolve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Under the combined destructiveness of Pastor Gong Mingpeng and my wife, they blocked the path to resolution, forcing our family into repeated separations and divorces. Our family was stuck in a dead end: divorce meant death; not divorcing and being stuck in suffering was also death. This forced me into the choice of divorce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 4. 2020-2025: Pastor Gong Mingpeng exploited his influence in the church to collude in cover-up and suppression.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n From 2020 to 2025, I repeatedly approached Pastor Gong Mingpeng, hoping he would have a frank conversation and resolve the issue through the church. However, instead of admitting his mistakes, repenting, and resolving the issue, he exploited his influence in the church to collude in the cover-up and suppression, distorting right and wrong, and burying my family in injustice and destruction, in an effort to conceal the truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n From 2022 to 2025, I reported Pastor Gong Mingpeng’s serious misconduct, including a joint letter signed by several people, to multiple Christian organizations where he held important positions. These organizations either did not respond or concealed and suppressed the whistleblowers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 5. My family has always had a path to resolve our problems. We should never have been wrongly accused and destroyed in the church environment.<\/strong><\/strong> This is a disaster entirely man-made by Pastor Gong Mingpeng.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n There has always been a path to resolve our problems: Pastor Gong Mingpeng had “first” admitted and corrected his mistakes of confusing right and wrong during counseling in 2017, and his subsequent misleading of my wife in the years since. He would have stopped misleading and manipulating her, and used “right” methods to correct the areas where he misled her. Only then would my wife have been able to admit and correct her mistakes, and our family could have returned to a normal external environment and resolved our problems based on true principles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But to cover up his own problems, he deliberately refused to admit and correct his mistakes, which would have allowed our family to resolve our problems. He continued to mislead and manipulate my wife, colluding to cover up and destroy the situation, blocking this path to resolution and causing our family to be wronged and destroyed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 6. Pastor Gong Mingpeng was not only the key factor in the destruction of my family but also the biggest obstacle to resolving our problems.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Pastor Gong Mingpeng misled my wife into a serious violation of moral conscience, destroying our family and leaving us with no way back. Both our marital and family relationships were shattered. Because they were both at fault, neither acknowledged their mistakes, colluding to cover up the truth and rationalizing their own reasons. They jointly fabricated the false narrative that “my family’s breakdown was due to our own unresolved problems.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n As a result, my wife’s interests became deeply aligned with his. \u00a0Even if she destroyed my family\u2019s injustice, she would work with him to cover it up and maintain their own rationalization. This completely blocked our path to resolution. If we don’t remove Gong Mingpeng, this obstacle, our family has no hope of resolving its problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 7. The reason behind Pastor Gong Mingpeng’s “egregious” behavior: To cover up his “moral issues.”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Pastor Gong Mingpeng, knowing full well that he has perverted right and wrong, misled, and damaged our family, yet, for the sake of reputation, he refuses to admit his mistakes or correct them. He continues to mislead and manipulate my wife, causing injustice and ruin for my family. He then exploits his influence within the church to collude in a cover-up and suppression, burying my family in injustice and ruin, in an effort to conceal the truth. This is a serious “moral issue.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n To conceal this truth and his moral issues, he misled and manipulated my wife, colluding in a cover-up, using the very means of destroying my family to conceal the truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 8. Seeking Your Help<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n My entire family, including my children’s future, my parents’ retirement, and this marriage, has been shrouded in despair, pain, injustice, and ruin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Because of the other party’s immense power, no one in the Toronto Chinese Church dares to speak out publicly.
